Access Management

The Access Management feature in DevStats allows workspace administrators to control the level of access granted to team members. This includes specifying what actions they can perform and the squads they can access. Below, you can find a guide on how to invite new players to your workspace.

First, let's learn about the different levels of access in DevStats:

  • Admin: Has full access to all features and data within the assigned workspace. Admins can manage users, settings, and content with unrestricted permissions within their workspace.

  • Owner: Currently, there is no difference between Admin and Workspace Owner. The only difference is that you can only have 1 workspace owner per workspace, but you can have multiple Admins.

  • Member: - Can access only the reports and squads they are specifically assigned to. Members have standard user rights within their assigned areas but no broader system or administrative privileges.

  • Cannot configure settings at the Workspace level.

  • As a Member of a Squad, they can configure settings for that Squad, view numbers for that Squad, and view numbers for Players linked to that Squad.

  • Squads that the Member has not been attached to, they will not be able to view it.

  • Viewer: - A Viewer has the same access as a Member but with an additional limitation: Viewers cannot see or interact with the “Players” filter within the reports and can’t see any specific player page.

  • Collaborator

  • Similar to a Viewer, but with partial access to the “Players” filter. Collaborators can filter reports by all players or themselves but cannot filter by another individual player.
