Overview
This guide explains how to connect your Azure Boards account with DevStats to allow us to track metrics for you.
Steps
Before connecting, make sure you have Project Collection Administrator access in your Azure DevOps organization.
To verify this: → Go to Organization Settings→ Open the Security tab → Under Groups, select Project Collection Administrators → Click Members → Ensure the user performing the connection is listed (if not, add them to the group)
Click the "Authenticate with Azure Boards" button to open the integration form in DevStats.
In the form, enter the name of the organization you want to connect to and add your personal access token.
Click on the info icon to access the guide on how to access your personal access token in Azure Boards.
Choose the projects you want DevStats to track for this squad and click Save Integration.
✅ Verify Integration
After saving your integration, you will likely see a message indicating that it is processing data. Depending on the size and history of your repository, the processing time can range from one hour to over a day.
