Overview
This guide explains how to connect Claude with DevStats to track AI-assisted interactions used during engineering workflows.
The integration enables visibility into how teams use Claude for tasks like analysis, documentation, decision support, and problem-solving.
Steps
- In your Squad Integration tab, scroll down to the Claude option and click the "Add Integration" button in DevStats.

You’ll be redirected to authenticate using your Claude account credentials.

You’ll be asked to provide an Admin API key.

The Admin API requires a special key starting with
sk-ant-admin- -
Only organization admins can generate this key in the Claude Console

The data sync will start automatically after the integration is saved.
✅ Verify Integration
After saving the integration, DevStats will begin processing Claude usage data. Processing time may vary based on volume and historical activity and can range from a few hours to over a day.
Once completed, Claude insights will appear in AI Usage Report.
